  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 sachet agar agar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • toppings jam/berry sauce of your choice
Instructions
    Make panna cotta
  1. Prepare Gelatin Mixture

Add water and gelatin to a small bowl and mix well. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes to bloom.

  2. Heat Cream Mixture

In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla essence. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves completely.

  3. Add agar

Now add the agar mixture and stir over medium heat until completely dissolved. Be careful not to let it boil.

  4. Strain the mixture

Remove the panna mixture from the flame and filter it through a sieve, so that there are no lumps.

  5. Pour into preferred Molds

Lightly grease your desired molds or ramekins with neutral oil or cooking spray. Pour the panna cotta mixture into the molds, filling them almost to the top.

  6. Chill

Cover the molds with plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm, at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.

  7. Serve
  8. Once the panna cotta has been set, carefully run a knife around the edges of each mold to loosen the dessert. Place a plate on top of each mold and turn to release the panna cotta on the plate.
Drizzle with raspberry coulis and serve chilled.
